Founders brewing has released their first seasonal beer of the year, The Azacca IPA an experimental hop beer created by Roy Farms in Yakima and named for the Hatian god of agriculture. The Azacca IPA is brewed with just one type of hops, Azacca hops a special variety created by yakima based Roy Farms which boosts intense, tropical fruit notes. The IPA includes a hint of carmel malt to provide a sweet backbone to the citrus, mango and orchard fruit notes. The beer sports 7% ABV with 70 IBU’s that would make any Hatian god proud.
