This 100% Espadin Agave Mezcal is from San Juan Del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. Distilled by Maestro Isaias Martinez Juan. This Mezcal exhibits delicate notes of fruit, fresh herbs, and sweet smoky character intertwined. Mezcal is not technically a tequila though it is very similar both use agave but thats where most of the similaries end. Mezcal is best described by the term its derived from “oven-cooked agave”, a process that gives this spirit its unique qualities. A bottle of this will cost you $100 but its unique spirit that is worth the price tag and has yet to break into mainstream tequila culture.
